The guest fee at monthly meetings for Subscription membership or non-guild visitors is $5. For more information on any of the programs and workshops listed below, please contact our guild representative via e-mail. Workshop registration is filled on a first come, first served basis to members first, then any interested persons. For cost of workshop and/or the supply list, please contact our guild representative.
The cost of attending an all-day workshop is usually $35 (extra charge for non-guild participants). Workshops are usually held at First Presbyterian Church, at 4th and Fairview in Downers Grove, IL.

Fun Quilts, Modern Quilt Design Project
- Are you a traditional quilter looking to give your quilts a more contemporary feel? FunQuilts has a special project for us that uses large scale Kaffe Fassett-type prints. We will be exploring the design principles used in modern quilts as well as the unique challenges presented by large scale prints.

Barb Vlack, High Tech Meets High Touch
- Watch Barb demonstrate the "magic" of designing a quilt wiht computer software. You don't have to have any computer experience to be awed by the ease of creating designs that you probably wouldn't draft on paper! Barb has become a practiced expert in using EQ6. She will bring her computer and a video projector to demonstrate how she creates quilts that go beyond the ordinary. Mary Ellen Krantz, Larger than Life Photo Printing
- Honey, I blew up the flowers! Create a larger than life flower quilt by blending photos with fabric. Mary Ellen offers a workshop that teaches printing and enlarging images on fabric, incorporating text and blending photos into the background. Additional Kit Fee: $15 (collected in class)
